I usually like to keep work off this here blog, but think this new app from our Paris office is pretty cool.  Amble is a travel app by Louis Vuitton - and attempts to bring their “exceptional journey” concept to life, by offering insider tips in big cities around the world and fun ways to record your travel experiences. There’s some basic content on the site, too - hopefully it will build over time with content that’s added to the app.  I’m still on blackberry, so can’t try it out, but let me know what you think if you give the app a go!

Dear die-hard Scrabble fans,

Don’t kill me, but the new Scrabble Trickster sounds like fun!  Okay so you can use proper nouns, spell words backwards, steal letters - gasp! - but I think it could be a fresh spin on an old game. (The NY times doesn’t really agree.)

Looks like it will only be available in Europe for now, but while the verdict (and roll-out plan) are out, take a look at this great video Ogilvy Paris created to promote it.

guys…look how cool the Ogilvy Prague office is!

it’s like an open, airy coffee shop that you just want to tuck into and work for the day.  for some, it’s their every day.

loved it there and am thankful for the people who took such good care of me.

Do you know Ellie Goulding, UK singer/songwriter?  She’s the cutest thing and somehow from her little body, the strongest, most unique voice comes belting out.  Isn’t that always the case?  Yet always startling. I’ve been wanting to catch her in concert here in London, but today, all I had to do was stroll down to a conference room at work…and there she was!  She came in and performed 3 songs just for the Ogilvy London crew.  Pretty fab.
