i will miss summer and it’s colourful offerings.

what a great weekend…
nicole came in from paris so we could spend a weekend walking, eating, drinking…and most importantly…catching up.  it’s been a long time, but the effect of good times with a best girlfriend took immediate effect.
the sun even came out in london today, so we made an obligatory round at the columbia road flower market. i scored these 7 beauties for just £10! then a few tourist stops, a quick good-bye and a slow stroll home - embankment to shoreditch. 2.5 hours, including a phone call with another good friend, a quick stop in the tate modern and dinner essentials picked-up from tesco.
what a difference a good friend and sunshine can make.

A brisk walk through Singapore Botanic Gardens

I had limited time outside of my hotel + office while in Singapore, but woke up early my last morning to at least take a quick walk through the botanic gardens.  I wish I could have seen more - the lush green and bright colors were incredible…even despite the 99% humidity and 90 degrees at 9am!

green + sunshine + fresh air = bliss

Friday evening included exploring the famous chelsea flower show.  this annual takeover of the royal hospital lawn is a see and be seen london event.  but for me, it was a chance to pull out the camera and drink lots of pimm’s!
here’s a pic of some of my favorite flower ‘gates’….more pics soon!

caryrandolph:

When I get married my maids will carry little bunches of herbs and wildflowers that we picked from the highway shoulder on the morning of the wedding. They will look a bit like this without the tightly wound stems. (Nothing about a wedding should be tightly wound.)Photo courtesy of Once Wed.

love the cactus in these. add some color and they’d go perfectly with this.
but again, hope tumblr still exists when i’ll need to reference this for actual use.
